Dr. Olorunsola oversees the strategic direction of GIS programs, policies, and stakeholder engagements. He is a Telecommunications Engineer by profession, an author, and a creative entrepreneur with a passion for soccer. An avid soccer player, he enjoys helping young children develop their hidden talents through active engagement in the sport. Dr. Olorunsola is a licensed U.S.S.F. coach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a master’s degree in Telecommunications Management, and a doctorate in Computer Science. Dr. Allan serves as a Technology Service Ambassador for AT&T in the DMV region. An ordained minister, he has helped to pioneer and support numerous non-profit organizations. He brings his unique visionary leadership skills to the GIS Soccer Academy
Mr. Omope oversees various aspects of GIS Academy programs, which include player assessment and placement, the Sportfest tournament, soccer clinics, and coaching development. He is a coach, teacher, evangelist, and philanthropist with a strong vision and passion for grassroots sports. Mr. Omope has a background as a semi-professional soccer player, having played for various soccer clubs and colleges. He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (U.S.S.F) coaching license and has credentials from United Soccer Coaches U.S.A. Additionally, he is a certified soccer intermediary. Mr. Omope earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in French (B.A.Ed) and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology.
Currently, he works for the state of Maryland. Furthermore, Coach Omope is the founder and CEO of Mopson Athletic Sports Academy, which is based in West Africa. He also established Global Impact
Sports, a non-profit organization in the U.S. Mr. Omope is a member of the Africa Humanitarian Council, another non-profit organization
Folusho Dasylva is the CEO of Royalty Events LLC, a creative firm in Maryland. Originally from Nigeria, she holds a degree in mass communication, a postgraduate diploma in peace building, and various certifications in branding and management, including a specialization from Harvard Business School. Prior to her role at Royalty Events, Folusho gained experience as an athlete, youth program presenter, research assistant, and brand executive, including time at the Nigerian National Assembly. She is skilled in content drafting and process engineering. A dedicated volunteer, she serves as the National Program and Political Director for the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC-USA). Folusho is faith-driven, happily married, and a proud mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and helping others.
Mrs. Olayemi Omope is a dedicated children’s Sunday school teacher, an accomplished businesswoman, and an inspiring female youth soccer coach. Residing and working in the vibrant state of Maryland, she has made significant contributions to her community by actively engaging various parent volunteer teams at GIS Soccer Academy. Her passion for fostering public health awareness has earned her recognition as a champion for health initiatives. In her role at GIS, Mrs. Omope skillfully manages all administrative functions, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. With a solid educational background, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Science, which further enhances her ability to connect with and educate the youth she serves.
